rebooking flights in cebu pacific part 2

in my previous post, i shared how much it costs to rebook flights in cebu pacific.  in this post, i’m going to share how you can do it.

i actually called the hotline first but was advised that i can do it online.  when you go to cebu pac’s website, you will see the “manage booking” tab, click on this button to do any changes on your purchased ticket.  in my case i needed to change our booking.  the first step is to retrieve your itinerary receipt.  there are actually 4 options to do this.  i used option 4 which requires the confirmation number and the first and last name of any of the passengers.

the next screen will show you your itinerary receipt.  the other tabs (change flights, purchase add-ons, and cancel flights) are what you need to make the necessary changes.  once you click on change flights, it will direct you to a screen where you would have to choose another flight (similar to how we choose flights for booking a flight).  in my case, i scouted for my alternative flight first before i clicked on manage booking.  i was able to find a relatively cheap flight. :)

once done, there are different options to pay for the rebooked flights aside from using your credit card.  i chose to pay via BDO.  i think you would have to pay within 24 hours upon rebooking to confirm.  the confirmation number on your itinerary receipt (the itinerary receipt of the rebooked flight) is what you’ll use as account number when paying at the BDO counter.  the new itinerary receipt will be emailed to you the next day. :)

well, hope this information helps to those who are planning to rebook their flights in cebu pacific.

  4. Hi, I have a question on rebooking.

When you chose the alternative flight, did you pay for the new flight’s amount? For example, my ticket costs P8,000. I wish to rebook it to a later date which costs P7,000. Aside from already paying the P8,000 beforehand, I would have to pay the P1,500 for the rebooking fee. What about the P7,000? Will it be negligible? Or is the indicated P7,000 on the net an addition to my already P9,500?

    Thank you very much.
